May Be Baby?!?!

i'm watching that show on CNA.
they are discussing about the procreating for Singaporean.
coincidentally, i just had a mail from HR for revised maternity "benefits".
at first i didn't look thoroughly, but one word caught my eyes.
it said that to be able to benefit from the "new benefits", the child must be a "SINGAPOREAN" and parents must be legally married.
WHAT THE.................
i'm working in an "INTERNATIONAL" working environment.
95% of ppl surrounded me are not Singaporean.
and what with that "legally married" thing?
can they be any more discriminate to the single mothers?
i wonder who the hell make up those ridiculous rules in the first place.

its not surprising that even their citizens are not keen on having children when they don't look out for their keens.
its so true, this ,so called, country has no soul at all.
its an efficient , uptight company with miles and miles of red tape and that national religion "KIASUISM"

that old woman in that show say she doesn't care if her man doesn't hold the door for her.
she said what important is if the man stand besides her in difficult times, it will be enough
i feel sorry for her. :)
doesn't she realize that such gesture can only come from heart?
i know that westerners are taught to be polite and asian men are brought up with a notion of superiority above females.
and when an Asian man shows such gestures towards a woman, it can only mean he really cares for her both with his conscious and subconscious mind.
she has such a typical old Asian housewives' air.
LOL

still got things on my mind about that.
may be i'll post later. or may be not.
but it really amuse me that Singaporean trying to procreate their mutant kids ( i call them mutant because their feelings are mutated over the time :D all they care is how to live life comfortably )
